Which govt. website will you like to see hacked?, 'Anonymous' asks EndSARS protesters as it announces taking over NBC twitter handle

NBC

Barely 24hours after announcing that it has successfully hacked into some Nigerian government's websites in solidarity with EndSARS protesters, a group of hackers known as Anonymous has hacked the twitter handle of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) of Nigeria.

OGBONGE NEWS earlier reported that Anonymous hacked Nigeria Police website in the wee hours of Wednesday and released confidential details of some SARS operatives.

Few hours later there were indications that the NBC twitter account has been hacked into in a tweet that was posted around 11PM, Thursday night. See tweet below:

Announcing the hack in a tweet around 7am, the 'hacktivist' group that seeks to spread awareness, information, calls for justice, and amplify movements and individuals alike that align to these principles, tweeted:

"We #Anonymous  have taken over all the NG Official Twitter's Account to support  #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY.

"WE'RE TOGETHER WITH NIGERIANS.

"EXPECT UNEXPECTED

Anonymous went on to ask EndSARS protesters to suggest the next Nigerian government website to hack into, saying that it is taking notes of suggestions and would do the bidding of the EndSARS protesters in solidarity with the EndPolice brutality protests.

Anonymous thereafter threatens that it is going to expose Nigerian government's secrets and dirty files, claiming that it has successfully hacked all Nigerian government's Twitter handles.

Today Friday, 16th, October, is Day 10 of protests by Nigerian youths who are now demanding an end to bad governnance.

The #EndSARS protest originally started in Lagos last Wednesday as a protest against brutality by the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), but has since spread across the whole Nigeria and beyond.

The scope of the protest has also metarmophosed from seeking an end to police brutality to seeking an end to bad governace in Nigeria.
